Board Members
Dwayne Kushniruk
Chairman Dwayne Kushniruk is chairman of the board of Serenic. As chairman and former
president of Opus Software Technologies Inc. and CEO of Abacus Software Group, he
was directly involved in developing a foundation of exceptional management and development
teams that implemented and effectively executed software business plans, especially
in the human resources and payroll businesses. Dwayne recently sold each company's
assets to a United States subsidiary of a large Australian software company. Dwayne
also co-founded Baseline Technologies, a pipeline software technology company, which
was subsequently sold to a TSE listed company.
Ronald Odynski, Director
Ron Odynski has practiced law with Ogilvie & Company of Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta
since 1975 and is the managing partner in Edmonton. He was admitted to the Law Society
of Alberta in 1975 and appointed Queen's Counsel in 1990. Ron has extensive experience
providing legal services to healthcare institutions and advanced technology companies.
David Tam, Corporate Secretary
David Tam obtained degrees for a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Bachelor of
Law at the University of Alberta. He is a member of the Alberta College of Pharmacists,
and since July 1990 has been a member of the Law Society of Alberta. David is a
partner with the law firm, Parlee McLaws LLP, in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta.
His practice is focused on securities and corporate/commercial transactions.
Randy Keith
Mr. Keith joined the Corporation in November 2006, and was appointed to the position
of CEO on July 1, 2007. Prior to joining Serenic, he played a significant role in
advancing the growth of Navision technology, products and reseller channels in North
America during the time he spent as President of the Navision US and Canadian companies,
prior to their acquisition by Microsoft.
Doug Thomson, FCA, ICD.D
Mr. Thomson is a certified director of the Institute of Corporate Directors and a
fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is the immediate past president
of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and is currently the Vice-President
and Chief Financial Officer of K-Bro Linen Income Fund (TSX:KBL.UN). Doug has considerable
business experience, having held senior financial positions with varied entrepreneurial
organizations over his career. Mr. Thomson is also a current Board member of the Mutual
Fund Dealers Association of Canada and CA Insurance Plans West.
