Serenic Corporation, a growing public software company that is a leading software
provider for not-for-profit organizations and government agencies, is looking for
individuals who have excellent aptitude, attitude, and ambition.
Position Overview:
This Software Quality Assurance analyst will be part of the team responsible for
testing Serenic’s award winning Navigator product line. This engineer will work
in the Serenic QA group with a focus on fund accounting functionality. Responsibilities
will include: writing test plans for new product features, designing and implementing
automated tests, executing test plans, documenting software bugs, reproducing problems
reported by customers, and verifying software bug fixes from development.
This person must be an extremely bright, articulate, and accomplished problem solver,
capable of troubleshooting complex software application problems. They must be able
to provide both preventative actions to avoid similar future problems, and to make
recommendations on corrective actions to resolve existing product and customer problems.
Must be located in the United States or Canada with permanent residency.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Computing Systems or considerable related experience; Equivalencies
considered
- Strong analytical skills (technical/user)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills working in a team environment
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently
- Organized and reliable, able to efficiently manage multiple tasks
- Great attitude and work ethic
Pluses:
- 1-3 years experience with MS Dynamics NAV
- Experience with software quality and testing methodologies
- Familiarity with three-tier applications
- Experience working with accounting software
