TWR was one of the first Serenic clients to upgrade to Serenic Navigator 2009. It had been four years since the organization’s last upgrade, so its users looked forward to new ease-of-use features and functionality built into the system’s user interface, resulting in a greatly enhanced user experience.
Religious governance organizations such as archdiocese and dioceses operate in a variety of scenarios. Whether control of financial information is centralized, de-centralized, or a combination of both, their needs are best met by an integrated financial and revenue management solution. Strong financial reporting, the ability to manage individual church/parish deposit and loan activities, the management of bill-back transactions for services rendered, and the ability to support business relationships between the governance operation and the local churches and schools are just a few of the features critical to their ability to serve their missions. Many archdioceses and dioceses have selected Serenic Navigator, certified for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, as the system best suited to provide the flexibility, scalability and business application depth they require.

More than 1,600 animals from around the world, 42 acres of picturesque Victorian gardens, stunning artwork, and historical architecture set the scene for America’s first zoo in Philadelphia. To that end, the Zoo initiated a search in 2002 for a fund accounting solution that would increase operational efficiencies and better manage expenditures. After evaluating several fund accounting solutions that claim to have NFP-specific functionality, the Zoo selected Serenic Navigator.

African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) is the leading international conservation organization focused solely on Africa. By protecting Africa’s wildlife and wild landscapes, the AWF is working to ensure prosperity of Africa and its people. And they’ve been successfully doing this work for more than 50 years. “Right now, we are administering about 70 or so active grants,” explains Jeff Chrisfield, CFO at AWF. “Our grants come in all sizes. We accept and track restricted grants starting at about $25,000, but of course they go up into the multimillions. And that’s 70 grants spread across different programs that span nine geographical regions. Our challenge is weaving together the tapestry of funding…” Serenic Navigator has been able to meet their need for a control process without having to hire lots of overhead finance people for each field office. “With Serenic, you get the segregation of duties by distributing the responsibilities. It centralizes procurement away from the field office.”
